GMX staking rewards (distribution of bought-back GMX to stakers) are currently suspended pending GMX reaching a $90 price target; bought-back GMX accumulates in the Treasury in the meantime. V1 contracts are fully sunset (no trading/liquidity since July 2025) -- V2 is the only live production version. Position Hedge Mode + Isolation Level: yes, at the position-key level: a long and a short position in the same market with the same collateral token are distinct, independently held positions (position key = account:marketAddress:collateralAddress:isLong), so a user can hold both simultaneously; isolation is per (market, collateral token, direction), not per-pair-only and not per-subaccount Has Native Collateral: No GMX-issued stablecoin or LST; CONFIRMED FACT collateral list (WETH, USDC, USDe, wstETH) is entirely third-party assets. Variable (Non-USD-Quote) Pairs: No non-USD-quoted pairs found; every live market (BTC, ETH, SOL, and the TradFi assets GOLD, SILVER, WTIOIL, BRENTOIL, NATGAS, SPCX, SPY, QQQ) is quoted/traded against USD. Interest Rate: No fixed interest-rate component found live or in docs; funding is adaptive from OI imbalance and borrow fee uses per-market kink/linear/power utilization models (45-130% APR tiers typical per docs). Zero-Fee Promotion: No zero-fee promotion currently active; every live and documented fee line (position open/close, swap, borrow, funding) carries a nonzero rate.
