Ostium's vault mechanics changed with a 2026 protocol upgrade: the old c-ratio-driven Overcollateralized(OC)/Undercollateralized(UC) model was retired, directional trader flow is now hedged offchain, and OLP sits in the senior loss position behind a dedicated buffer -- so material describing the pre-upgrade c-ratio/OC/funding-fee mechanics is outdated. Has Native Collateral: No — collateral is USDC only (Arbitrum-native/bridged); Ostium does not issue its own stablecoin or LST for collateral. The only Ostium-issued token encountered is OLP, the vault LP share, which is a yield-bearing receipt token, not a usable trading-margin collateral. Zero-Fee Promotion: No active zero-fee promotion found. The landing page, app_trade banners ('Ostium's New Liquidity Engine', 'Launches Decentralized Execution Layer'), and Points page reviewed this pass show no 0-fee-market promotion; standard per-asset-class opening fees (1-6bps) plus the flat $0.10 oracle fee apply across all markets.
