Pear is not itself an exchange or matching engine; it is a non-custodial routing layer that splits each pair/basket trade into legs and routes them to third-party venues (Hyperliquid, Lighter, SYMM, Variational, and Binance/Bybit/OKX via Pear Pro). Many venue-level facts (execution model, gas, funding cadence) are properties of the underlying routed venue, not of Pear itself, and can differ leg-to-leg within a single Pear trade.
